At OptiLife Chiropractic, we take a whole-person approach to your health. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms, we look at how your whole body and nervous system are functioning together.
We also see each person as part of something bigger. Connected to family, community and the world around them. Our approach is built on supporting your body’s own natural capacity to function and adapt, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
At OptiLife, we use the gentle, specific Gonstead method to assess how your spine is moving and functioning. It’s an unhurried, careful process and one that looks at your whole spine, not just where discomfort may be present, so care can be tailored specifically to you.

The Gonstead system is a distinctive method of chiropractic analysis. It’s built around detailed, thorough assessment, with every decision about care based on the full picture of what’s found.
Adjustments are performed using the minimum amount of force needed and are designed to be gentle, precise and comfortable. For babies and children, techniques are carefully adapted to suit their age, size and stage of development.
The Gonstead system was developed by Dr Clarence Gonstead, who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1923. As interest in his methods grew, Dr Gonstead began teaching seminars to fellow chiropractors. Today, the Gonstead system continues to be taught worldwide, and mastering the technique takes years of ongoing dedication and practice — something our chiropractors continue to build on through regular training.
